Stewart Redfield, President and Chief Executive Officer
Stewart Redfield is the Founder and President of The Birchmere Group, LLC (Birchmere). Prior to founding Birchmere, Mr. Redfield held positions in Information Assurance and Management at Hewlett-Packard Enterprises. He has more than 30 years of experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community agencies. Mr. Redfield was honored to serve more than 21 years active duty as a Cryptologist for the United States Navy where he has experience in Signals Intelligence Analysis and Information Systems Security. A native of Silver Spring, Maryland, Mr. Redfield holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College, Albany, New York and a Master’s Degree in Information Assurance, along with, three graduate certificates in Security Management, Network Protection, and Information Assurance Administration from Capitol Technology University (formerly Capitol College), Laurel, Maryland. He also holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification among a host of other industry-wide certifications.
Kalie Rott, Vice President of Operations
Kalie Rott is the Vice President of Operations. He is responsible for overseeing the business operations of The Birchmere Group. Mr. Rott brings an adaptive and agile leadership style with over 30 years of government and corporate experience. Previously, he held positions at DirecTV and Merrill Lynch where he led high-performing teams to integrate business practices, technology and operations to increase productivity through innovative efficiencies. Kalie is a career military Reservist with over 30 years of service on active duty and the reserve components. He is a graduate of the Special Forces “Q” course, Military Intelligence Officer’s Course and earned a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. He served as a Special Forces Commander and Military Intelligence Officer with specialized skills in asymmetric warfare, geo-spatial fusion, HUMINT & CI activities, partner nation security cooperation and policy formulation at the tactical, operational and strategic echelons. Mr. Rott also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in History from the University of South Dakota and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Daniels College of Business, University of Denver.
Michael Haran, Vice President of Business Development
Michael Haran is the Vice President of Business Development. He is responsible for the Birchmere Group’s business development and strategic growth. Mr. Haran has more than 16 years of experience in Contracting and Acquisition roles serving the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Prior to joining The Birchmere Group, Mr. Haran was a Management Analyst for Novetta. In this role, he was responsible for providing a broad range of Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution support to clients within Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and the United States Air Force. Before joining industry, Mr. Haran was a Department of Defense civilian in a Contracting Specialist capacity. Mr. Haran holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Management Information Systems from Salisbury University.
Gregory Beyer, Vice President of Quality and Innovation
Greg Beyer is the Vice President of Quality and Innovation. He is responsible for implementing and sustaining Birchmere’s quality management system as well as updating and enhancing its processes and policies and evaluating their effectiveness. Prior to joining The Birchmere Group, Mr. Beyer retired from the Air Force as a career acquisitions manager developing and delivering warfighter capabilities ranging from cyberspace weapon systems to force protection systems for America’s strategic assets. He holds a DAWIA Level III certification in program management, a Master of Business Administration from Boston University, a Master of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from West Virginia University.
